Stacy: Well, how kind of you to ask! Lots of nothings and somethings have been happening lately with me.
For a little while now, I have found myself really bored. "Wha!?" You say. Yup, bored. I attribute it to the fact that I know this huge, incredible, life altering, sleep depriving event is soon to come into our lives but until then, life just seems quiet and slow. I wake up early, clean, run errands, do yard work, prep the nursery, pay bills, organize our closets, wash the sheets, play with Tooley, work on a few design projects, frantically read all the books I can while I still can, and then I'll look at the clock and it will say, "1:30 p.m." Ugh. For some reason time just creeps by but I'm trying to enjoy it because I know I know: I won't have much time for anything soon.
But on another note, a few things have happened! Like my bestie Amanda throwing me a baby shower a few weeks ago! Which was bomb diggity to the max! And then my wonderful in-laws came to stay for a few days as well. Fun fun! And I've been walking and exercising a lot which has been super hard but very good for the blimpy body and soul. I received my first ever prenatal massage! And re-watched The Office seasons!
And also, drum roll please...
I finally broke down in a moment of extreme weakness and saw "Breaking Dawn." (In my defense, it was a really late showing that only cost $5.) But still, $5 or not, it.was.the.worst. Second hand embarrassment all OVA the place ya'll! If you've seen the movie, you know what I'm talking about. Edward was wearing bermuda shorts and tennis shoes you guys. TENNIS SHOES!
I can't even.
Moving on. Life is great though. We are truly blessed and I am so ready to get my labor on. Word.
Richard: Is great! Working hard and hardly not working! I am always so proud of my huzby. When not working around the clock, one can find good ol' handsome Richard making delicious meals and food experiments for fun, studying scrupulously for his GMAT, working at his church calling like a champ, joining the ward basketball team, reading up on politics and ESPN, re-watching and laughing at The Office with me, laughing at my jokes, loving and adoring me, getting excited to be a dad, getting even more excited to turn 30 this year! (not), going on long walks with me, loving Tooley (real men heart cats), building nursery furniture and saying how much he loves my latest craft or design at least 3 times! *swoon*
Baby Girl: Almost 36 weeks old! I can tell she loves long walks on the beach, spicy green beans and currently hiccups most of the day away. Which is cute right? I mean, I have a little baby girl inside my tummy hiccuping! *Too Adorbs Too Handle*
Anyhoots, she is measuring perfectly with her head down, butt up and kicks and wiggles all.day.long. Which I thought was supposed to slow down once they didn't have as much room as before, but alas not baby deanski! I hope she comes soon. Like...in 2 weeks. That would be lovely. I am a little tired of the, "roll me out of bed to pee" game that happens 4 times a night.
Tooley: Purrfect! Haha. She is currently enjoying the Oregon sunshine streaming through the windows. She loves to sun bathe and snuggle into our new, very cushy cuddle blanket. She has also learned how to play Hide and Seek. Which is annoying when I open up the cupboards for a strainer and get a Tooley paw in the face. :)
And that's what's up with the Deanksi family. :)

Stacy, as always, I love reading your blog. I'm sooo excited for you to have your wiggly baby girl--you're getting so close!
So..Breaking Dawn. I saw that when it first came out in theaters. On a date. Yes, he asked me if I'd want to go see Breaking Dawn with him. I laughed because I thought he was joking, but he was completely serious. I asked him if he knew what Breaking Dawn was and he assured me that he did and still wanted to see it with me. I don't know if he was just trying to impress me or what, but I raised my eyebrow at him and said okay, sure, let's go see Breaking Dawn. Once it got going he became super embarrassed to be there watching it with me and I have to admit it was very amusingly satisfying for me to watch him squirm. Haha. Such an awesome date.
Haha - thinking of Tooley hiding in the cupboards. Thanks for the update! Totally know what you mean about being so bored right before baby comes. I didn't know what to do with myself! Boy do I wish for a few of those days back! :)
