:: Halloween Overload ::

This Halloween was pretty full with two very fun parties, (hilarious video to come soon) cards designed for family and friends, crafties and candies. Take a look!

Craft 1: "Bat Branches." Really simple to make. Just grab some artsy looking branches from a tree, paint them with black acrylic paint, find a Halloweeny vase to put them in, glue on some cutey bats and voila! *A special thanks to Richard for being a gentleman and collecting the branches for me while I stayed inside.* :)

Craft 2: "Candy Witch Broom Bags." This was inspired my the one and only Martha Stewart, of course. It is simple yet complicated, so the instructions are here on her website! But they are really adorable and make great hand outs for the trick-or-treaters!

And last but not least, our resident Vet, Dr. Richard Dean and his patient lurking in the background. (Please forgive the poor quality photo, I was in a hurry!)

We got a lot of kids for our first Trick-or-Treat year, so I was pumped. I wanted to take pictures of all the kids but Richard said that would be weird so I settled for blogging about every other little detail of Halloween instead!

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and Halloween! If you received a card from me, I hope you liked the little Halloween Riddle! I thought it was pretty hilarious myself, ;)

Oh my freakin goodness, could your cards be any cuter?! The broom bag is such a clever idea too - I've never seen anything like it. And the bat tree is my fav, did you cut out the bats on your own or use a die cut? They look so professional. And yes, I kind of sew. Scott and I took textiles in 12th grade and I finally just got a sewing machine so I'm excited to start sewing more projects!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the little baby outfit below for bringing her home from the hospital is THE cutest first outfit I've ever seen!
