So I'm giving all you peeps a breather from "Stacy's Baby Stuff" and posting about something else tonight. *crowd goes wild!* I know. It's okay. I used to think the same thing, "Don't these pregger people have anything else to talk about?!" :)
So I thought I'd show you I have cool thoughts still! You know, like music, movies, politics, hilarity, etc. The cool stuff. Not the "Mom" stuff ;)
Music: Lately I have been playing guitar a lot and listening to just a jumble of music from Shania Twain to weirdo indie bands that sing about strolls through the woods and eating ice cream cones. Mmmm.....Ice cream.....
Movies: Since getting rid of Netflix in protest of their ridiculous new business model (which they revoked! ha!) I have been more into the new fall TV shows such as:
Terra Nova - nerdy dinosaur show that's Jurrassic Park meets Avatar. It's awesome.
The Office - of course.
Parks and Recreation - of course.
Once Upon a Time - Okay, it hasn't come on yet, but it looks AMAZING and it's from the creators of Lost. So we can do no wrong with this one right?. Hopefully.
Politics: For the first time in my life I have been keeping up with politics. We've been watching the Republican debates and laughing hysterically at the appropriate ridiculous parts. But I like keeping up with the haps of the world. It makes me feel like if I wanted to hang around a water cooler, I'd totally have something to say. Like, "Why do people still have water coolers? Why don't we just bring bottled water to work?" By the way, did you know I'm a Republicany type of person? Yup! Who knew?!
Books: I need some good books to read! I went to the library a few weeks ago and they were all lamespice. The problem is I can't really narrow in on what type of books I want to read. Pregnancy has done a number on my decision making abilities. So if you have read something PHEnomenal lately, share share!
Design: I need to get on designing and finishing my Etsy shop prints! I know I know, I. AM. LAME. It's just so crazy how pregnancy has shifted my entire world. My brain and body are in survival mode: Food, Water, Laundry, Baby, Food, Water, Sleep. Anything that can fit in between is a miraculous event. Srsly. But I do have Halloween decor, cards, and some fun stuff coming up on the blog, so that's something right?!
Richard: Richard is great and wonderful and amazing. He takes me on secret milkshake runs at late hours of the night and promises to never tell. Isn't he perfect? And he says I'm more beautiful than the day we were married. (awww) He has baby excitement blinders on, but it's the perfect thing to say anyways. :) He's working hard and rarely hardly working. We need a date night soon now that I think of it, we haven't had one in for evas! Hmm...maybe we'll use up our Movie Theater gift card this weekend...
Anyways. Sorry if this "cool" post wasn't actually very cool. Lol. But you'll love me through it of course. ;)
